Cheese Maggi: The 5 Minute Upgrade
8 October 2026
Cheese Maggi is the fastest comfort food there is. Cook the noodles as usual, then stir in a little butter and a shake of Grella Cheddar right before serving for a creamy, cheesy bowl in about 5 minutes.
What you need (1 bowl)
- 1 pack of instant noodles with its tastemaker
- 1 and a half cups of water
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 to 2 teaspoons cheese seasoning powder
- Chopped onion, capsicum or sweet corn (optional)
- A slice or a little grated cheese (optional)
Method
- Boil the water. Add the veggies first if you are using them and cook for a minute.
- Add the noodles and the tastemaker and cook for 2 minutes, stirring now and then.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the butter.
- Shake on the cheese seasoning and stir well. Add grated cheese on top if you like.
- Taste and add a little more seasoning if you want it cheesier.
Tips
- Add the seasoning off the heat so it stays creamy.
- Keep a little water in the pan. Saucy Maggi holds the cheese flavour better than dry Maggi.
- Also works with any instant noodles or a bowl of plain pasta.
Make it spicy
- Grella Chilli for cheese Maggi with a chilli kick.
- Grella Peri Peri for tangy, spicy Maggi.
- Grella Garlic for a garlic and cheese bowl.
